About the role
Iru is constructing a new security and IT operating layer for AI-centric enterprises. Within this initiative, the Windows Agent team owns the complete lifecycle of a proprietary Windows service. This role is responsible for converting high-level endpoint strategy into production features that span secure architecture, code quality, and cross-team collaboration. You will solve deep system-level challenges related to device management, security controls, and modern enterprise workflows. The position reports to the Miami office and operates as a full-time engagement. The initial target start date is aligned with the 2025 fiscal cycle.

What you'll do
You will design intake pipelines that normalize heterogeneous endpoint telemetry before advanced processing.
You will architect modular build components for agent services while respecting system constraints and security boundaries.
You will coordinate security review checkpoints with dedicated engineers to validate data handling policies and logic.
You will ship reliable releases through orchestrated deployment workflows that maintain enterprise device uptime.
You will build partner integrations that connect Iru with existing management consoles and monitoring ecosystems.

You will participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical production incidents and support enterprise customers.
You will collaborate with the product team to prototype new features and validate technical feasibility early in the design phase.
You will optimize system resource usage including memory, CPU, and I/O to meet strict enterprise performance standards.
You will document architectural decisions and interfaces to ensure clarity for current and future engineering contributors.
You will mentor junior engineers by providing code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices for Windows development.
Requirements
You must possess 3 to 5 years of focused experience building software for Windows systems and APIs.
Deep understanding of system internals is necessary for managing processes, threads, and native interactions.
Strong knowledge of device management protocols and security principles is required in daily work.
Proficiency with core development tools and workflows is essential for consistent delivery.
You must be comfortable working with low-level system constructs and high-level application logic.
Reliable execution and ownership of task completion are expected as part of your daily responsibilities.
Effective communication skills are required for articulating technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
You must be able to work full-time in the Miami office location during the 2025 fiscal cycle.

Compensation and benefits
Iru provides a total compensation package valued at $185,000 for this role in 2025. This package is designed to reflect market rates for specialized Windows engineering within the endpoint security sector.

Iru is seeking an experienced Windows endpoint developer with deep knowledge of the Windows API, system internals, device management, and security. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help design, build, and evolve the Windows agent that powers secure and scalable endpoint management. You will work closely with cross-platform engineers and product teams to deliver performant, reliable, and secure solutions that extend Iru's reach across Windows ecosystems.
