Senior Software Engineer
Job description
About the role
Ironclad is the leading AI contracting platform that transforms agreements into assets where contracts move faster and insights surface instantly with agents pushing work forward while you remain in control of the entire process. In this capacity you will own the design and delivery of high-impact features that directly power the contract intelligence engine and define the technical roadmap for your squad. You will partner closely with product leadership to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions while mentoring engineers across the organization to elevate code quality and system reliability. You will drive architectural decisions for complex distributed systems and introduce new paradigms that strengthen our core platform for every customer from Rivian to the World Health Organization. This role gives you the authority to shape critical components end to end and establish best practices that influence engineering standards across Ironclad. You will proactively monitor production systems, remove blockers for cross-functional teams, and ensure that solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with long-term product vision.
