About the role
You will take ownership of IFRS financial statement preparation for our international entities and ensure that all reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable accounting standards. You will play a key role in our annual statutory audit cycles by coordinating closely with external auditors and providing high-quality support, including preparing schedules and responding to detailed audit queries in a timely manner. In this position, you will manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including recording journal entries, performing detailed account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis to explain results. You will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts for international subsidiaries across multiple currencies, ensuring that all transactions are properly authorized and recorded. You will prepare supporting schedules and working papers that feed into our financial reporting packages, maintaining clear documentation and organized files. You will assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including performing intercompany eliminations and ensuring that eliminations are accurate and fully documented. You will monitor and ensure compliance with local statutory filing requirements in the Philippines and other assigned jurisdictions, staying aware of key filing and regulatory deadlines. You will collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to gather financial data, clarify requirements, and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner. You will support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancements, helping to document accounting policies and procedures, and promoting controls that improve efficiency and reliability.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for financial reporting processes, including methodologies, assumptions, and key judgments used in preparing statements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance function by proposing enhancements to controls, workflows, and reporting tools that improve reliability and transparency.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax-related schedules and reports in coordination with tax professionals, ensuring that reporting aligns with accounting standards.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as requested by finance leadership, providing timely support for decision-making and strategic discussions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess a CPA license (Philippines), as this role requires deep knowledge of local regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Bring 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally gained in multinational or shared-services environments where accuracy and compliance are critical.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience preparing or supporting the preparation of IFRS financial statements being essential for success.
- Have prior participation in statutory audit support or external audit coordination, showing that you can work effectively with auditors and manage audit-related deliverables.
- Show proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy.
- Possess clear written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with global stakeholders and clear documentation of work.
- Be comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment, demonstrating strong self-direction and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Maintain a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and supporting materials.
- Have the legal right to work in the Philippines and comply with all local employment and regulatory requirements.
- Be able to pass all required background checks and identity verification steps as part of the hiring process.
Nice to have
- Bring experience with multi-entity or multi-currency consolidations, showing that you can manage complex reporting across subsidiaries.
- Demonstrate familiarity with US GAAP and the ability to identify key differences with IFRS, adding flexibility to support global reporting initiatives.
- Have experience working with global teams in the US, Europe, or Asia-Pacific, showing that you can collaborate effectively in diverse environments.
