What you'll do

Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize AI optimization strategies that align with Bamboohr's business objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI initiatives and report findings to stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure a clear understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI projects, proposing solutions to overcome potential challenges.
Conduct market research to stay informed about emerging AI technologies and trends, integrating relevant insights into our strategy.
Organize and lead workshops and training sessions to educate employees on AI tools and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned and focused on achieving common goals.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new talent into the AI optimization team, helping to build a strong and diverse workforce.
Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure that AI initiatives are supported and understood across the organization.
Prepare and present reports to the executive team on the progress of AI projects, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Drive the development of internal policies and guidelines related to AI usage, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role focused on AI or technology optimization.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans that drive organizational success.

Nice to have

Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
Previous experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic role within a tech-focused organization.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in AI development.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation for technology projects.

Skills & tools

Proficient in project management software such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
Strong understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies.
