In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the Instacart Marketplace by targeting and onboarding local independent grocery stores. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the complete sales cycle for smaller accounts while actively developing a pipeline of new partnerships through strategic outreach efforts.

- Initiate contact with independent grocery retailers through cold calls and emails to present the Instacart platform and its benefits.
- Oversee the entire sales process for small business opportunities, ensuring a seamless experience for potential partners.
- Develop tailored sales materials, case studies, and narratives that effectively communicate the advantages of the Instacart platform to prospective clients.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with retail owners to meet partnership objectives and enhance collaboration.

Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or business development, demonstrating a solid understanding of the sales process.

- The base hourly pay for this position in Massachusetts ranges from $25.48 to $26.93.
- In addition to base pay, compensation includes a new hire equity grant and annual equity refresh grants, providing long-term financial benefits.
- Salary varies by state; for instance, in California, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, the pay ranges from $27.88 to $29.33 per hour, while in Washington, it ranges from $26.44 to $27.89. Other states typically offer compensation between $23.08 and $24.28 per hour.
