About the role

You will join the Enterprise Systems team to build and maintain Salesforce solutions that support internal operations for GTM, sales, and account management teams. This role focuses on integrating AI capabilities into our Salesforce ecosystem to drive business efficiency and performance. You will own the end to end delivery of Salesforce solutions in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders. The position requires you to translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs within the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI features are reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Your work will directly influence how sales and account management teams interact with data and automate their workflows. You will act as a technical leader in defining best practices for declarative and programmatic development on the Lightning Platform. This role demands a proactive approach to solving problems and improving the overall Salesforce architecture over time.

What you'll do

• Architect and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud environments.
• Design and implement AI driven capabilities using Salesforce Einstein, GenAI tools, and integrations with Large Language Models.
• Engineer advanced Apex classes and triggers to handle complex business logic with high performance and maintainability.
• Build responsive Lightning Web Components that deliver seamless user experiences on both desktop and mobile interfaces.
• Optimize SOQL and SOSL queries to reduce execution time and avoid governor limit exceptions in high volume scenarios.
• Implement robust security models including sharing rules, permissions, and field level security to protect sensitive data.
• Integrate external systems with Salesforce through REST and SOAP APIs while ensuring data integrity and error handling.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and Copado to streamline release management and testing.
• Conduct detailed code reviews to enforce quality standards and mentor other engineers on clean development practices.
• Balance the use of declarative tools and custom code to find the most efficient solution for each business challenge.
• Lead the configuration and customization of Agentforce workflows to support intelligent automation.
• Monitor system performance metrics and apply optimization strategies for Apex, LWC, and large data volumes.
• Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to refine requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Document technical designs, processes, and configurations to support long term maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Possess a minimum of 4 years of hands on experience developing on the Salesforce Lightning Platform.
• Demonstrate expert level proficiency in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Show strong understanding of Salesforce security models including authentication, authorization, and data access controls.
• Have practical experience managing Large Data Volumes and navigating Salesforce Governor Limits effectively.
• Apply solid knowledge of CI/CD workflows using tools such as Git and GitHub to manage source control and deployments.
• Bring exposure to AI and Generative AI technologies with platforms like Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, or OpenAI.
• Understand how to design solutions that scale and remain maintainable in a complex enterprise environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hold Salesforce PD2 certification or other Salesforce professional credentials that validate your expertise.
• Gain experience with Agentforce configuration and implementation for automated agent workflows.
• Worked with Einstein GPT, AI Cloud services, or other LLM based use cases in production environments.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to refine the behavior and accuracy of AI models within Salesforce.
• Build background in Event Driven Architecture, including the use of CDC and Platform Events for real time integrations.
• Leverage experience with asynchronous processing patterns to handle long running operations efficiently.
• Utilize advanced CI/CD tools such as Copado, Jenkins, or similar platforms to automate release management.
