About the role
This role owns the intelligence layer for Accelerate, InMobi's AI-native advertising platform for SMBs and agencies. You will define the end-to-end strategy for measurement, data infrastructure, and automated optimization from the ground up. The position requires you to translate ambiguous business problems into structured product requirements that align with platform-wide goals. You will partner closely with data science and engineering to operationalize advanced models into intuitive user workflows. A significant portion of your work will involve validating the accuracy and reliability of automated insights before they reach customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that every recommendation surfaced to users is explainable and grounded in robust data practices. This role is critical for establishing the credibility and competitive edge of InMobi's advertising intelligence.

What you'll do
- Architect the product vision for platform-wide measurement, attribution, and performance reporting across all Accelerate modules.
- Build and manage the optimization engine responsible for automated campaign adjustments, bid suggestions, and recommendation logic.
- Govern the Accelerate data stack, establishing standards for data integrity from initial event capture through transformation to final consumption.
- Integrate AI-driven features such as anomaly detection, trend analysis, and budget guidance directly into the user interaction flow.
- Evaluate and manage strategic third-party data and measurement partnerships to ensure compatibility with our core data model.
- Collaborate directly with machine learning and data science teams to influence architectural decisions and model deployment strategies.
- Define the metrics framework that determines product success, including adoption rates, insight accuracy, and user trust indicators.
- Prioritize the roadmap for the intelligence layer based on user feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Design experiments to test the effectiveness of new optimization features and interpret results to guide future iterations.
- Own the documentation and specifications necessary for cross-functional alignment with sales, marketing, and customer success.
- Establish best practices for data governance, ensuring compliance and ethical use of advertising performance data.
- Lead scoping sessions to balance ambitious product ideas with the constraints of data availability and system performance.
- Act as the primary product expert for Accelerate, communicating capabilities and limitations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the collection of qualitative feedback to uncover unmet needs and opportunities for new optimization capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in ad tech, specifically within programmatic advertising, performance marketing, or DSP/SSP infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in attribution methodologies, including multi-touch models and their practical application in complex ad systems.
- Proven experience designing optimization capabilities, including bidding strategies, budget management, and delivery pacing mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, including how data flows through large-scale ad platforms and the implications for scalability.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products and managing the complexities of automated model outputs in production environments.
- Ability to engage with staff engineers and machine learning practitioners on technical architectural decisions and trade-offs.
- Demonstrated history of working with high-dimensional data sets and deriving actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
