What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive dissemination plans for various projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and target audiences.
• Create engaging content for multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, websites, and reports, to effectively communicate project outcomes and insights.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant information and data, transforming complex findings into accessible and compelling narratives.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of dissemination strategies, utilizing metrics and feedback to refine approaches and enhance outreach efforts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, policymakers, and media representatives, to amplify our messaging.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, webinars, and presentations to share knowledge and foster dialogue around our initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communication and dissemination, applying this knowledge to improve our strategies.
• Assist in the development of promotional materials, such as brochures and infographics, to support outreach efforts and enhance visibility.
• Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and reports, ensuring that dissemination activities are well-documented and aligned with funding requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment, sharing insights and ideas to enhance overall project success.
• Support the training of staff and partners on effective communication strategies and tools, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and stay informed about new tools and techniques in dissemination and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in dissemination, communications, or a similar role, preferably within a non-profit or research environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies and campaigns.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to assess the impact of dissemination efforts.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Experience in the field of public health, education, or community engagement.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for creating visual content.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools to enhance online visibility.
• Previous experience in grant writing or fundraising efforts.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages relevant to our target communities, are a plus.

Skills & tools

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
