What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations at the site, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement operational enhancements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to assess operational effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage inventory levels and procurement processes.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
• Conduct regular audits of operational processes to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on operational goals and objectives.
• Support the implementation of technology solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
• Participate in project management initiatives, providing operational insights and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Address and resolve operational issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to site activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and feedback on operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or site management, preferably in a technology or software environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with operational metrics and performance measurement techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is a plus.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the tech industry or a startup environment.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and data management practices.
• Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, etc.) would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and procurement processes.

Skills & tools

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in operational management, with skills in data analysis, process optimization, and project coordination. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar project management software is beneficial. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is also advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration across teams and departments.
