What you'll do
- Design and implement educational programs tailored to meet the needs of adult learners and community members, focusing on practical skills and personal enrichment.
- Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop relevant course offerings.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and classes that encourage participation and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through feedback and assessments, making necessary adjustments to improve future offerings.
- Promote lifelong learning initiatives through marketing efforts, including social media, community outreach, and partnerships with local businesses.
- Maintain accurate records of participant enrollment, attendance, and feedback to ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Provide guidance and support to learners, helping them set and achieve their educational goals.
- Stay informed about trends in adult education and lifelong learning to continuously enhance program offerings and instructional methods.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education, adult learning, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least two years of experience in teaching, training, or facilitating adult education programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to design and implement educational programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
- Familiarity with various instructional techniques and adult learning principles.
- Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning, including online platforms and digital resources.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for lifelong learning and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
