About the Organization

Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. Services occur in the home, at our early intervention centers, and within the broader community.

Position Overview

This role involves owning complex family journeys from first contact through final review. Professionals will guide caregivers using coaching methods within home settings. Cases require quick thinking across interdisciplinary teams. The position demands a calm and steady presence while navigating diverse neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of infant-toddler development across all domains.
• Utilize a parent coaching model consistently when working with families in home settings.
• Participate actively in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a core team member.
• Provide direct home-based services to families spanning the entire catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families. Partners include child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Deliver service coordination for assigned caseloads. This includes coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
• Engage in social work practice holding a Master's Degree in Social Work with current licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Engage in mental health practice holding a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or Educational Psychology. Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or License Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or license eligibility for these fields is required.
• Bring two years of pediatric experience, demonstrating familiarity with early childhood benchmarks and family dynamics.
• Maintain effective verbal and written communication skills to adapt tone for clients, colleagues, and external partners.
• Operate computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone.
• Use current software including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 tools such as Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Hold a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation to reach families across varied routes.
• Welcome bilingual or bicultural candidates who can reflect community identities and communication styles.
