About the role
You will serve as a strategic partner to internal and external stakeholders, translating ambiguous business needs into precise data science requirements and high-impact analytical solutions. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements that bridge complex analytics with actionable commercial insights. You will manage data science pods, ensuring coordinated execution of modeling workstreams that address pharmaceutical customer challenges. Your work will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and hypothesis-driven approaches to transform data into customer-centric narratives. You will craft compelling analytical stories that directly influence executive decision-making and shape roadmap priorities. This role demands fluency in translating technical model outputs into clear, visual, and persuasive client-ready deliverables using Excel and BI platforms. You will act as a thought leader within the Analytics & Behavior Change organization, identifying new program opportunities through analytical discovery and data exploration.

What you'll do
Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable data science requirements that guide analytical solution design.
Manage data science pods end-to-end, coordinating resources and workflows to implement predictive modeling and machine learning solutions for pharmaceutical customers.
Apply strong analytical capabilities in Excel and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau to refine modeling outputs and build client-ready dashboards and reports.
Coordinate cross-functional program delivery with internal stakeholders, integrating existing analytical capabilities into scalable customer-facing solutions.
Draft, refine, and deliver analytical narratives tailored for internal and external executive audiences, ensuring clarity, insight, and strategic relevance.
Partner with Product Management to synthesize customer insights and translate them into concrete roadmap priorities and product decisions.
Scope detailed work plans, build realistic delivery timelines, and allocate resources effectively for analytical consulting engagements across multiple programs.
Identify new project opportunities through data and analytics discovery, then surface and prioritize these opportunities to business partners for further exploration.
Work cross-functionally with product and commercial teams to standardize analytics reporting outcomes and accelerate decision-making across the business.
Leverage healthcare data, including familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims data, to ensure analytical approaches are grounded in real-world evidence.
Apply advanced analytical techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical methods to uncover insights that improve health outcomes and customer strategies.
Build executive-grade presentations that communicate complex analytical concepts clearly, using strong verbal and written communication to drive alignment and action.
Requirements
5+ years in Consulting, Program Management, Business Operations, or Strategy, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact analytical initiatives.
3+ years in analytics or management consulting, where you have delivered executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
3+ years with data visualization and manipulation in Excel, including dashboards, and exposure to tools such as Tableau or Power BI for interactive reporting.
2+ years working collaboratively with Data Science or Data Engineering teams, translating technical constraints and outputs into business language within healthcare analytics contexts.
2+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that span analytics, product, and commercial functions.
2+ years building executive-grade PowerPoint presentations, with a demonstrated ability to structure narratives that influence decision-making at senior levels.
1+ year of experience in healthcare, with a preference for pharmaceutical, life sciences, commercial, clinical, or market access analytics environments.
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL to query, aggregate, and manipulate data for analysis and to partner effectively with technical teams.
Familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims data, including structures, key variables, and common use cases in pharmaceutical analytics.
Exposure to predictive modeling, machine learning, or advanced statistical techniques on healthcare datasets, with an understanding of model outputs and limitations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, compelling, and actionable narratives.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, aligning diverse stakeholders around analytical objectives and standardizing reporting outcomes.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and analytical problems require adaptive solutions.
Commitment to maintaining data integrity and analytical rigor while balancing business needs and technical feasibility in healthcare settings.

Experience with medical and pharmacy claims data and related healthcare data sources, including data structures and key variables.
