About the role
You will own the end-to-end design of product features and initiatives, translating ambiguous problems into conceptual solutions and high-fidelity executions that move the business forward. You will partner deeply with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to define requirements and architect solutions that balance user needs with strategic business objectives. Through conducting user research, running usability tests, and synthesizing feedback, you will iterate relentlessly to refine and improve the experience. Your work will focus on both web and mobile platforms, ensuring that interactions remain intuitive and delightful regardless of device. You will own and evolve the visual and interaction design language, delivering pixel-perfect outputs that meet a high standard of quality. You will lead design reviews and clearly present concepts to stakeholders across the company to secure alignment and shared understanding. Requirements
- Hold 3-5 years of professional design experience in a relevant role.
- Demonstrate mastery in Figma and other applicable design software used in modern product workflows.
- Bring experience with different design methods and techniques, including research, prototyping, and testing.
- Maintain an online or PDF portfolio for review, including any passwords required for access.
- Show the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively when presenting design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate well within cross-functional teams, valuing diverse perspectives and constructive feedback.
- Commit to adhering to Hiive processes and standards to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables.
