About the role
Hiive is redefining how private companies and their shareholders access liquidity through an institutional-grade platform that unites buyers, sellers, and issuers to facilitate secondary transactions in venture-backed, pre-IPO companies. This Performance Marketing Manager role owns our paid acquisition engine from the ground up, where you will design, launch, and optimize campaigns across paid search and social channels. You will develop the infrastructure, measurement frameworks, and creative feedback loops that accelerate Hiive's paid spend from $xM to $xxM while maintaining a high ROAS. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership and the opportunity to shape the marketing team as Hiive grows. You will build scalable processes that support the evolving needs of a high-growth environment and directly influence how Hiive engages with its target audience. The position requires strategic thinking paired with execution excellence to drive efficient growth across key channels. You will be responsible for translating data into action and ensuring every campaign advances the company's liquidity mission.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, X, and other channels.
- Own the full performance marketing stack, including campaign setup, audience targeting, bid strategy, creative testing, and landing page alignment.
- Analyze campaign performance daily, identify opportunities and inefficiencies, and continuously optimize for Revenue, ROAS, CPA, and pipeline contribution.
- Develop and test creative briefs and messaging hypotheses in collaboration with creative to run structured A/B tests and iterate quickly.
- Report on channel performance and paid acquisition KPIs to executives, with clear recommendations on budget allocation.
- Stay current on platform changes, audience targeting capabilities, and emerging technologies relevant to a high-intent, financially sophisticated audience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align paid initiatives with product launches, pricing updates, and corporate milestones.
- Define and track core performance indicators, building dashboards that provide transparent insight into campaign health and business impact.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on underperforming campaigns to diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Experiment with new channels and formats to uncover scalable acquisition opportunities while protecting brand integrity.
- Maintain strict governance over budget pacing, audience overlap, and channel efficiency to maximize return on investment.
- Document playbooks and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and enable seamless collaboration across the team.
- Lead test-and-learn cycles with disciplined experimentation frameworks to drive continuous improvement in acquisition performance.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Support hiring and mentorship initiatives to elevate the capabilities of the broader performance marketing function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with direct ownership of paid search (Google Ads/SEM) and paid social (Meta, LinkedIn) campaigns.
- Experience managing multi-channel paid budgets with accountability for ROAS, CPA, or pipeline contribution.
- Comfortable pulling and interpreting data and translating it into clear budget and creative recommendations.

- A habit of keeping up with changes in technology, Google algorithm shifts, and other developments that shape the way you work.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and best practices related to digital advertising and data usage.
- Willingness to work closely with cross-functional partners to solve complex marketing challenges.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with B2B or ABM-style paid campaigns targeting financial advisors, family offices, or institutional audiences.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools like Omni, Looker, PostHock, Tableau, etc.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated industry, or marketing to an affluent/professional audience.
