What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product management, to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, resources, and milestones, and ensure adherence to these plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns that may arise.
• Ensure that all engineering projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in project management.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to build a high-performing project management team.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.
• Utilize project management software and tools to streamline workflows and enhance communication across teams.
• Engage with external vendors and partners as necessary to support project objectives and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within an engineering or technical environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable project plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and familiarity with project management software tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in the food or logistics industry is a plus but not required.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and principles.
