Staff Product Manager, Organic Growth
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end product strategy for organic discovery, technical SEO, content infrastructure at scale, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and the emerging Agentic Commerce surface that turns discovery into action inside LLMs. You will set the direction for a cross-functional squad comprising Product, Engineering, Data/ML, SEO, Content/Editorial, and UX, and act as the connective tissue across Marketing, Brand, PR, and Commercial teams. You will operate with high agency and a strong bias for ownership, driving HelloFresh and Factor to be discovered, cited, and chosen across Google and AI surfaces. This role is for a builder who takes accountability for outcomes, not just outputs, and is responsible for scaling a quality-first organic discovery engine from a traditional SEO function into a modern, multi-surface reality.
Key facts
What you'll do
Lead end-to-end technical and content SEO for HelloFresh and Factor, covering crawlability, indexation, structured data, internal linking, server-side rendering, sitemaps, and CMS/content-platform infrastructure.
Define and scale a quality-first content strategy for recipe detail pages, automated recipe collection pages, editorial and blog content, recipe internationalization, and UGC signals such as ratings, reviews, and authorship.
Identify high-volume food and recipe queries where the brand currently has no page, and build those missing pieces to move the organization from a meal-kit catalog toward a broader food destination.
Own AI visibility and citation share across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, measured via Profound across a priority set of food and meal-kit prompts.
Drive the +25 percentage point GEO Visibility Score target for HelloFresh and Factor by the end of 2026 through GEO-specific content formats, narrative-shaping editorial, and coordinated signals across owned, editorial, PR/affiliate, and social surfaces.
Operationalize the principle that good SEO is good GEO, while also owning GEO-only tactics such as comparison and listicle content, third-party narrative building, and non-Google LLM optimization.
Extend organic discovery from mere visibility in search results to conversion within Agentic Commerce surfaces, connecting GEO presence to action inside LLMs.
Partner with New Ventures on the Discovery MCP and ChatGPT App, as well as the hub-and-spoke platform involving MCP and Apps SDK, helping to shape funnel and active-experience coverage as the ecosystem matures.
Route food-intent traffic into the Cooking Companion and Cookbook experience, including web-to-app save, cook-along features, and shopping lists, to build daily active users and deepen engagement.
Own one integrated, prioritized organic-discovery roadmap that aligns content, product, engineering, data, and AI measurement while balancing short-term wins with long-term durability.
Establish guardrails for content scale to avoid content debt, ensuring that growth in recipe and food coverage remains sustainable and strategically focused.
Collaborate closely with data and machine learning teams to design experiments, interpret performance signals, and refine both SEO and GEO approaches over time.
Work with editorial and content operations to standardize and automate recipe collection and publishing workflows, improving efficiency and consistency across markets.
Represent organic growth priorities with external partners, including agencies, affiliates, and PR, to ensure consistent narrative execution and measurable impact.
Requirements
You have 8 or more years of experience in product management, growth, SEO, or a related discipline, with a track record of owning complex, cross-functional initiatives.
You have hands-on experience with technical SEO, including crawl budget management, indexation strategies, structured data, and rendering considerations for both traditional search and AI-driven discovery.
You are fluent in the nuances of Generative Engine Optimization, including citation management, narrative control, and optimization for non-Google LLMs.
You have experience working with large-scale content infrastructure and automated content pipelines, particularly in the context of recipe or food-related properties.
You understand how to measure and influence user behavior across discovery, engagement, and conversion, using both traditional web metrics and emerging AI-attribution signals.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and can make decisions with incomplete information while maintaining a bias for action.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and to translate technical concepts into clear narratives.
You have a history of setting product vision, defining roadmaps, and aligning stakeholders across Marketing, Engineering, Data, and Editorial teams.
Nice to have
Experience with agentic systems, MCPs, and emerging AI-native product patterns relevant to discovery and commerce.
Background in food, recipe, or meal-kit categories, including familiarity with cooking intent and related user journeys.
Prior work with Profound or similar platforms measuring AI-driven visibility and citation share.
