Gta is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Security Manager to oversee and enhance our security operations in Tamuning, Guam. What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive physical security policies and procedures tailored to the needs of Gta, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within the organization and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, to enhance the overall security posture.
- Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of security service.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to establish effective response protocols and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of security consciousness throughout the organization.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security operations, incidents, and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in physical security, integrating innovative solutions to enhance security measures.
- Manage security budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high levels of security.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for various scenarios, including natural disasters and security threats.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security management or a similar role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing security programs.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, systems, and best practices, including surveillance and access control systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing security protocols based on identified vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to security and safety.
- Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) is a plus.
