We are seeking a specialist to manage complex analytical challenges within our People Analytics team. You will design original data products, predictive models, and experiments to provide strategic insights that influence organizational decision-making. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of analytical initiatives, transforming raw information into actionable business strategies. You will act as a critical thought partner, challenging assumptions and pushing the boundaries of how data informs people operations. The role requires a proactive mindset to navigate ambiguity and deliver robust solutions without explicit direction. You will establish the technical standards that ensure our insights are both rigorous and reproducible. What you'll do
- Take ownership of ambiguous analytical problems from initial hypothesis to final decision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop predictive models and new analytical frameworks for organizational challenges, translating complex data into accessible narratives.
- Mentor junior team members and raise the technical standards of the department through constructive feedback and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a senior partner to HR business partners and executive leadership, providing counsel grounded in data and industry best practices.
- Create data products that serve as reliable, high-quality sources of truth, maintained with precision and attention to detail.
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses, measuring the impact of interventions on people-related metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in people processes and policies.
- Establish scalable methodologies for data collection, cleaning, and analysis to support long-term strategic initiatives.
- Synthesize sophisticated analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling presentations for diverse audiences.
- Challenge the status quo by introducing innovative analytical techniques and tools that enhance the team's capabilities.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical requirements effectively.
- Document analytical processes and logic to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ease of maintenance.
- Stay current with advancements in people analytics, data science, and related fields to bring cutting-edge solutions to the organization.
- Drive a culture of curiosity and continuous learning by sharing insights, tools, and best practices with the broader organization.
Requirements
- Proven background in People Analytics, Data Science, or related analytical fields, demonstrating a track record of solving complex business problems.
- Proficiency in Python or R for predictive analysis and statistical modeling, with a portfolio of relevant projects or work examples.
- Advanced SQL skills for managing large and complex datasets, including writing optimized queries and troubleshooting data issues.
- Strong foundation in applied statistics, including experimental design and model evaluation, with the ability to explain concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience presenting technical findings to senior stakeholders and C-level executives, showcasing the ability to distill complexity into strategic recommendations.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to other analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English for documentation and international meetings, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
- High attention to detail regarding data accuracy and quality, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in analytical work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
