Senior Product Manager, Hardware
Job description
About the role
You will define and own the end-to-end strategy for Gridware's hardware product portfolio, setting the vision that aligns with the company's active grid response mission. You will lead the discovery and synthesis of customer and stakeholder needs to translate ambiguous problems into clear product hypotheses and hardware specifications. This role requires you to manage the full lifecycle of hardware products from initial concept and requirements gathering through detailed design, validation, and commercial launch. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and meet rigorous reliability standards for grid environments. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmaps that balance innovation, cost, and time-to-market while navigating the constraints of hardware development. In this position, you will influence cross-functional decision-making by framing trade-offs and prioritizing features based on impact and feasibility. You will define and track key performance indicators to measure product success in the field and use data to iterate on designs. This role is foundational to Gridware's ability to deliver cutting-edge sensing and response hardware that enhances grid reliability and safety.
