What you'll do

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other critical metrics.
• Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can impact business outcomes.
• statistical methods to validate findings and ensure the accuracy and reliability of data-driven recommendations.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data collection processes to enhance the quality and integrity of data.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve analytical methodologies and tools.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis techniques and best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects that require data analysis expertise, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data availability and accessibility for analysis.
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from management and other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or content-focused environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experience applying statistical methods to real-world problems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data and its implications for business strategy.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with A/B testing and other experimental design methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the digital marketing industry or with content analytics is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Certification in data analytics or related fields is a plus.
• Experience with programming languages beyond Python or R, such as Java or Scala.
