What you'll do

• Develop and produce high-quality written content for various platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, and marketing materials, ensuring consistency with the brand's voice and messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create integrated campaigns that effectively communicate our value propositions and engage our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategies and enhance the relevance of your writing.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines, while also optimizing for SEO best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for content that drives engagement and supports business goals.
• Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Analyze content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of your writing and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging content trends and writing techniques to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
• Assist in developing content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials across various channels.
• Provide support in crafting internal communications and presentations that articulate the company's vision and initiatives.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that will inform future content development and strategy.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting fellow team members in their writing endeavors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in a marketing or advertising context.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and style.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices, along with experience in optimizing content for search engines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual projects effectively.
• Strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and engaging content.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples that demonstrate versatility and creativity.

Nice to have

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML knowledge.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• Understanding of analytics tools to measure content performance.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Familiarity with content creation tools such as Grammarly, Hemingway, or similar applications.
• Experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or similar platforms to track progress and deadlines.
• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.

• This position is based in Manila, Manila, and may require occasional remote work flexibility.
