What you'll do

• Lead the creative direction for motion graphic projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, animators, and producers, to develop innovative visual concepts.
• Oversee the entire production process of motion graphics, from initial brainstorming sessions to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output.
• Create storyboards and animatics to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
• Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance the quality of motion graphics produced.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Present concepts and final work to clients, articulating the creative vision and rationale behind design choices.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills in motion design.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure that motion graphics align with overall campaign strategies.
• Develop and maintain a library of motion graphic assets for future projects, streamlining the creative process.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new projects and campaigns.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and animation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate creative concepts effectively.
• Proven experience in leading creative projects and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with 3D animation and motion tracking is a plus.
• A degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in the advertising or digital content industry, particularly in a creative leadership role.
• Knowledge of video editing and sound design to enhance motion graphics projects.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and how they apply to motion graphics.
• Experience with live-action production and post-production processes.
• A passion for storytelling and the ability to convey complex ideas through visual means.
