About the role
In this pivotal position, you will take on the role of the primary Project Management Office (PMO) leader for Grab in the Philippines. Your responsibilities will include managing the intake and prioritization of various business requests while overseeing a project portfolio that emphasizes operational efficiency, cost management, and digital transformation initiatives. This role is crucial for supporting the Grab Support team in achieving its strategic objectives.

What you'll do
- Serve as the main point of contact for project requests originating from local business units and stakeholders, ensuring a streamlined process for intake.
- Evaluate project proposals by analyzing return on investment (ROI), operational feasibility, risk factors, and resource capacity before integrating them into the national project roadmap.
- Collaborate with business leaders to negotiate adjustments, postponements, or rejections of projects that may exceed the operational limits of the organization.
- Oversee the comprehensive PMO governance for tactical projects, focusing on enhancing process efficiency and channel effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, risk assessment frameworks, and accountability structures for all delivery teams involved.
- Continuously monitor the organizational capacity of both internal teams and business process outsourcing (BPO) partners to identify and address potential bottlenecks.
- Track and report on the performance of the project portfolio against established Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring that targets related to service levels, cost management, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
- Provide mentorship to the Prioritization and Intake Lead while coordinating efforts with the Head of Planning and Business Insight to align project goals with business strategy.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in program or portfolio management, particularly within technology platforms, shared services, or contact center environments.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing contact center performance metrics, including service level agreements (SLAs), cost efficiency, quality assurance standards, and self-service adoption rates.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing business intake frameworks, prioritization models, and PMO governance structures.
- Strong negotiation skills, along with proven capabilities in stakeholder management and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess project viability and organizational capacity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to have
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification, indicating expertise in process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Program and Portfolio Management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of PMO Governance principles.
- Expertise in Stakeholder Management and Negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of Capacity Planning strategies.
- Familiarity with Contact Center Metrics and Operations.
- Experience in OKR Management for performance tracking.
