Centre Manager (ROME)
Job description
About the role
Centre Manager Opportunity in Rome with GoStudent
GoStudent is establishing its first tuition centre in Rome and seeking a Centre Manager to lead this launch. In this role, you will own the full student journey for this new location, from initial contact to learning outcomes, while building a high-performing team. This is a hands-on position that blends operational execution, people leadership, and market engagement in a fast-growing EdTech environment.
What this role involves
You will design intake processes that accurately identify student needs and convert them into structured learning pathways. This includes mapping the entire journey from first contact to ongoing progress, ensuring clarity and consistency at every step. You will define and guide the local team structure, supporting tutors and education advisors to work effectively within our standards and tools. Local marketing experimentation will be part of your responsibility, testing channels and messages that raise awareness and drive conversions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents, focusing on long-term satisfaction and organic growth through口碑. Performance analysis will guide your decisions, as you review dashboards, identify trends, and refine actions to improve results. The learning environment will be your responsibility to uphold, ensuring spaces are safe, welcoming, and fully functional for every session. You will also explore partnerships with local schools, community groups, and other education stakeholders to embed GoStudent within Rome's education network. Innovation will be encouraged through testing new formats, measuring impact, and iterating based on feedback from students, families, and staff.
What you bring
Strong operational skills are essential, as you will manage complex schedules and details without missing critical elements. Proven experience leading teams in an education or coaching context will help you guide tutors and advisors toward shared goals. You will juggle multiple priorities while keeping clear focus on targets, timelines, and quality. Fluency in Italian and English is required to communicate effectively with students, families, and partners. A deep commitment to educational outcomes will drive how you track progress and adjust methods. You will use data to uncover insights and turn them into concrete actions that improve performance and student experience.
Compensation and engagement
This position is structured as a freelancer or fixed-term engagement, with an initial part-time allocation. The arrangement includes a fixed monthly reimbursement plus performance-based commission on revenues.
