What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and design of scalable software systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and promote knowledge sharing among team members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into our products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance to team members as needed.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure project alignment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, APIs, and user guides.
• Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback and improve product functionality and usability.
• Contribute to the establishment of coding standards and best practices across the engineering team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with frameworks like Spring, Django, or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record of leading software projects from conception to deployment, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in building microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
