What you'll do

• Design and implement OTBI reports and dashboards that meet the analytical needs of various departments within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic business decisions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits and validations of reports.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize OTBI tools and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to OTBI reports, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in OTBI and related technologies to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with IT and database teams to optimize data sources and enhance performance for reporting solutions.
• Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for OTBI report development and maintenance.
• Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to timelines and deliverables related to business intelligence initiatives.
• Assist in the development of data governance policies to ensure compliance with data management standards.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in data analytics and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) or similar BI tools.
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database querying and reporting.
• Proven ability to design and develop complex reports and dashboards that meet business needs.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to present data effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Certification in Oracle BI or related business intelligence frameworks.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and technologies.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a technology or software company.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Cloud applications.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
