What you'll do

• Lead the architectural design and development of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and GTM (Global Trade Management) solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define technical specifications and system requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the transportation and trade management domains.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, system configurations, and integration processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and project continuity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
• Engage with clients to understand their unique business challenges and translate those into effective technical solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and keep Gosaas at the forefront of transportation and trade management solutions.
• Participate in the development of proof-of-concept projects and prototypes to validate new ideas and approaches before full-scale implementation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly in areas related to data security and trade compliance.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support business development efforts, providing technical insights during client presentations and proposals.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal functionality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies, promoting best practices in architecture and software development.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on OTM and GTM solutions.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems and global trade compliance regulations.
• Proven experience with cloud-based architectures and integration methodologies, particularly in relation to SaaS solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar, along with experience in database management and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications or other leading transportation management platforms.
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics as applied to transportation and trade management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, particularly in consulting or solutions architecture.
• Certifications related to OTM, GTM, or cloud architecture are a plus.
