What you'll do
Open the store early and close it late, operating the alarm system for security.
Identify workplace issues and share them with management to maintain safe conditions.
Recommend BRS products to customers using detailed product knowledge.
Drive sales across all departments by supporting store operations.
Order, replenish, and maintain inventory to keep shelves stocked.
Perform cashier tasks, handle cash, checks, and credit cards, and process refunds and exchanges.
Scan items, verify ages, and issue accurate receipts to customers.
Bag or box purchases securely to ensure safe transport.
Follow BRS procedures for coupons and gift cards during every transaction.
Assist in promoting and setting up in-store events.
Observe BRS vehicle policies and delivery safety procedures.
Deliver items to customers following assigned routes and schedules.
Report vehicle operating conditions to the manager to ensure reliable performance.
Requirements
Be 21 years of age or older to perform the role.
Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of BRS products and services.
Have one year of prior experience as a store associate or customer service representative.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for building customer and team relationships.
Show a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor in all interactions.
Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Frequently stand and move safely and efficiently in the assigned location.
Lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
Handle objects, products, and equipment safely to prevent damage or injury.
Bend and kneel while performing routine duties in the store.
