In this senior execution role, you will partner closely with the broader events team to support delivery across field and brand initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment between strategy and on-site implementation. You bring deep conference experience and strong operational judgment to lead complex programs where many moving parts must be coordinated effortlessly. The position requires clear, proactive communication to keep stakeholders aligned and to maintain consistent brand standards across every touchpoint of the event journey. You will manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively flagging risks and keeping cross-functional workstreams on track. What you'll do
Own end-to-end execution for Collaborative, including production, vendor management, run-of-show, ancillary programming, and on-site leadership.
Manage all logistics across the full conference footprint, covering general sessions, breakouts, customer dinners, receptions, executive programs, and other ancillary events tied to the conference.
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing stakeholders to align on audience targeting, programming priorities, and post-event follow-up.
Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; proactively flag risks and keep cross-functional workstreams on track.
Ensure consistent brand standards across all Collaborative touchpoints, from pre-event communications to on-site experiences.
Partner with other events team members on execution across field marketing events, roundtables, partner activations, and brand programs.
Support logistics for sponsored third-party events, including booth setup, staffing, and promotional materials coordination.
Localize event experiences to reflect audience needs and market context, adapting content and formats for specific regions or segments.
Track event performance against defined KPIs, including attendance, pipeline influence, and engagement metrics to measure success.
Compile post-event recaps and surface insights that inform future programming and budget decisions for the broader events portfolio.
Manage vendor and venue relationships, including contract negotiation and day-of performance to ensure reliable execution.
Build and maintain process documentation, project trackers, and cross-functional task lists that improve team efficiency and program scalability over time.
Mentor junior team members and contractors on execution standards and project management practices to elevate team capability.
Champion continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, refining playbooks, and implementing scalable systems for event operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners throughout the event lifecycle, ensuring clarity and accountability at every stage.
Requirements
5-8 years of experience in event marketing or experiential marketing, with direct ownership of large-scale conference execution involving 500+ attendees, multi-day, multi-track formats.
Proven ability to manage complex event logistics across a full conference footprint, including ancillary events, executive programs, and third-party activations with precision.
Strong project management skills; able to run multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing detail or budget discipline under tight timelines.
Clear, proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and programs on track through structured updates and thoughtful escalation when needed.
Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and reliable delivery from partners.
Comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time to support event execution and stakeholder engagement as required by the role.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Swoogo, ClickUp, or equivalent tools to manage registrations, data, and project workflows effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed, cross-functional team in a fully remote environment while maintaining high productivity and engagement.
Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline to coordinate logistics, timelines, and budgets across a large portfolio of events.
Commitment to upholding GoFundMe's mission and brand standards in all external-facing materials and participant experiences.
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in B2B SaaS, nonprofit technology, or a related sector that aligns with the company's ecosystem.
Familiarity with building scalable event operations systems and post-event reporting infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
