About the role
You will partner with Senior Authentication Specialists to verify the authenticity of incoming sneakers and apparel using technical inspection and brand-specific knowledge. You will receive, organize, and process inbound inventory by brand, model, and release details to maintain accurate workflow tracking. You will keep detailed notes and enter precise data into the GOAT Group database, including release information, product SKUs, and production dates for traceability. You will continuously research and learn about new sneaker models and apparel drops across major brands and retailer collaborations. You will manage and update the authentication process through training modules and self-directed learning to stay current on procedures. You will inspect products for manufacturer defects, assess wear, and verify SKU and size details to protect buyer experience. You will support the team in maintaining GOAT Group's position as the most trusted marketplace through consistent execution of authentication standards. You will perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations within the distribution network.

What you'll do
- Assist Senior Authentication Specialists in the verification process of both footwear and apparel to ensure product accuracy.
- Receive and arrange inbound inventory according to brand, model, and release details for efficient processing.
- Keep detailed notes and enter accurate data into the GOAT Group database, including release information, product SKUs, and production dates.
- Continuously research and learn about new models and brands of sneakers to maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Manage and keep up to date with the authentication process through training and self-directed learning initiatives.
- Spot manufacturer defects, assess wear, and inspect SKU and size to match expected retail standards.
- Ensure each buyer receives the expected retail experience through careful inspection and verification steps.
- Support operational continuity by completing additional tasks as assigned by team leadership.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in authentication workflows.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance logistical efficiency and buyer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory flow to reduce errors and support timely order fulfillment.
- Use technology tools to track product movement and maintain database integrity.
Requirements
You must possess a valid driver's license to operate equipment and transport materials within the facility. You must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment at this time. You must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process. You must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods during shifts. You must be able to lift and move inventory weighing up to fifty pounds on a regular basis. You must have reliable transportation to and from the Easton, Pennsylvania work location. You must comply with all company safety policies and warehouse procedures. You must maintain confidentiality regarding all company data and buyer information. You must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and product inspection. You must be available for scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends, as business needs require.
Nice to have
Knowledge of consignment inventory for brands such as Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, FOG Essentials, Supreme, BAPE, Denim Tears, and similar labels. Familiarity with sneaker and streetwear culture, trends, and upcoming releases. Experience with database systems and high-volume data entry in fast-paced environments. Understanding of quality control processes and defect identification for footwear and apparel. Exposure to logistics or distribution environments supporting order fulfillment operations.
Practical notes
This role operates on a full-time schedule with shifts that may include evenings and weekends to align with business demand. Travel is not required for this position. Candidates must meet all eligibility and hard bar requirements as listed in the qualifications section.
