What you'll do
- Assist in the collection and analysis of geological samples from various sites to support exploration and mining activities.
- Conduct fieldwork, including geological mapping, sampling, and data collection, to gather essential information for project development.
- Collaborate with senior geologists to interpret geological data and prepare reports that summarize findings and recommendations.
- Utilize geological software and tools to create models and simulations that aid in resource estimation and project planning.
- Participate in the preparation of technical documentation, including geological reports, presentations, and project proposals.
- Support environmental assessments by collecting data on geological features and potential impacts of mining operations.
- Engage in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols while conducting fieldwork to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of fieldwork activities, sample collections, and laboratory results for future reference and analysis.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field is required.
- Previous internship or field experience in geology or mining is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with geological mapping techniques and data collection methods is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of geological software and tools, such as GIS or 3D modeling software, is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret geological data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
