About the role
The Inside Sales Executive Malaysia is a critical driver for expanding our presence and supplier network within the Malaysian market. Your primary mission is to fuel growth by identifying, qualifying, and successfully onboarding new travel experience partners. This role centers on building strong, professional relationships with suppliers to diversify and enrich our inventory of activities and tours across Malaysia. You will take full ownership of managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from the initial point of contact through to final contract signing. A core responsibility involves rigorously identifying and qualifying potential suppliers to ensure they meet our stringent platform standards and operational requirements. You will negotiate favorable terms and conditions, balancing partner interests with the need to deliver high-quality offerings that enhance our customers' experiences. Success in this position requires maintaining a robust and active pipeline of leads, diligently tracking every opportunity within our internal systems, and providing accurate forecasts. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with multiple internal departments to ensure seamless partner onboarding and a consistent, high-quality experience for our end users. Ultimately, this role is accountable for driving both the acquisition and long-term retention of a strong supplier base within your assigned market segment.

What you'll do
Your daily responsibilities will focus on strategic partner acquisition and relationship management to grow our Malaysian inventory. You will manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signing with new partners in Malaysia, ensuring a professional and efficient process. A core part of the role is to identify and qualify potential suppliers, assessing their fit with our platform standards and ability to deliver consistent quality. You will negotiate terms and conditions to secure agreements that ensure high-quality offerings for our customers and the long-term viability of the partnership. Maintaining a proactive and organized pipeline of leads is essential, as you will track progress meticulously through our internal tracking systems. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, such as Product and Operations, to guarantee a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new partners.
To drive strategic growth, you will conduct in-depth market research to uncover new opportunities and emerging trends within the Malaysian travel sector. This insight will inform the development of targeted account plans, allowing you to prioritize and manage key supplier relationships effectively. Your sales strategies will be refined over time through the analysis of data and performance insights, with the goal of improving conversion rates. You will clearly communicate our value propositions to potential partners through tailored presentations and compelling proposals. To maintain a competitive edge, you will continuously monitor competitor activity and broader market dynamics. Providing accurate sales forecasts and detailed reporting will support strategic planning and resource allocation for the team. You will leverage CRM tools diligently to document all interactions, ensuring a transparent and visible view of the entire sales pipeline for the team. Additionally, you will support the creation of marketing and sales collateral to enable future partner acquisition efforts. A crucial part of the role is acting as the primary liaison between the supplier community and our internal product teams, relaying valuable feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, specific qualifications and skills are mandatory. Fluency in Malay is mandatory for this role to effectively communicate and build trust with potential supplier partners in Malaysia. You must possess proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, demonstrating a track record of achieving results. The ability to thrive and remain productive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment is essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills are non-negotiable, allowing you to articulate value and secure favorable agreements. You must demonstrate a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. Experience using CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline is essential for success in this position. Furthermore, you must possess a results-oriented mindset with the discipline to manage your own schedule, priorities, and workload effectively.
