What you'll do
Develop quantitative analysis and statistical models to evaluate and steer marketing decisions.
Propose and defend strategic recommendations to our top marketing leads based on rigorous evidence.
Setup and analyse marketing experiments to drive strategic decision making and measure incrementality.
Explore large datasets, give meaning to data and numbers, identify opportunities and issues, and present findings to stakeholders clearly.
Maintain and improve our marketing measurement tools including Attribution, experimentation framework, and Customer lifetime value models.
Serve as a liaison between the marketing teams and the data engineering team to align requirements and insights.
Mentor others in the skills needed for this role to elevate the overall capability of the Marketing Analytics organization.
Use SQL and Python to transform, analyze, and derive insights from complex marketing datasets.
Evaluate the performance of digital and performance marketing channels to guide budget allocation and optimization.
Communicate results and recommendations in a concise and actionable way to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional mission teams to integrate data insights into broader product and marketing roadmaps.
Validate assumptions and outcomes through measurement frameworks that tie marketing efforts to business results.
Champion a culture of data driven decision making within the Marketing organization through clear documentation and knowledge sharing.
Continuously question and refine analytical approaches to support growth objectives as the business scales.
Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics or data science role.
A track record in solving marketing and growth challenges and influencing decisions/driving business results.
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for analysis (eg, pandas, scikit-learn, pyspark).
Ability to understand user behavior and meaning behind the numbers and a track record in sharing insights to business stakeholders.
Prior exposure to digital and performance marketing or SEO, especially data-driven platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks).
Desire to work in an international environment, with minimal direction and with highly engaged individuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to articulate complex ideas and recommendations.
Experience working with large datasets and performing analysis in a scalable and reliable manner.
Comfortable navigating ambiguous problems and defining the analytical approach with stakeholders.
Detail oriented with strong judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
A collaborative mindset focused on partnering with cross functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Nice to have
Experience in understanding and modelling marketing journeys.
Experience with big data tools (e.g. Spark, Hive) is a plus.
