Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including status reports, change requests, and final project deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
• Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, manage resources, and report on project status.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all project phases.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in project management.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and other relevant tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience in the marine or defense sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a project context.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and tools.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and management.
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
