We are seeking a dynamic Communications & Marketing Associate to join our innovative TechBio organization dedicated to enhancing health outcomes through Genomics. Your work will directly support the translation of complex genomic data into narratives that drive engagement and understanding. You will play a vital role in expediting drug discovery processes and promoting personalized healthcare solutions. This is a hands-on position where you will own the end-to-end execution of communication initiatives, from initial concept to final delivery.

What you'll do
Develop and implement multi-channel communication strategies that elevate brand awareness and engagement across digital and traditional platforms.
Create high-impact content such as blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media posts that translate complex genomic concepts into accessible stories for target audiences.
Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns from conception to completion, managing timelines, assets, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including media outlets, influencers, and industry organizations to amplify our reach and credibility.
Plan and manage internal and external events, including webinars, conferences, and workshops, handling logistics, content, and follow-up communications.
Analyze campaign performance using key metrics and insights to refine strategies and improve future initiatives, ensuring continuous optimization of efforts.
Collaborate with design and video production specialists to create visual assets such as infographics, presentations, and short-form videos that enhance message delivery.
Support the maintenance and evolution of the company website and landing pages, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with SEO best practices.
Represent Genomics at industry conferences and networking events, serving as a point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests when appropriate.
Gather and synthesize feedback from audiences and stakeholders to inform the development of new messaging frameworks and content ideas.
Manage internal communications to ensure cross-functional teams are informed of campaign launches, product updates, and relevant market developments.
Identify emerging trends and best practices in communications and marketing, proposing innovative ideas that keep the organization ahead of the curve.
Assist in the creation of sales and support materials that equip internal teams with the tools they need to succeed in their roles.
Act as a proactive partner to the scientific and commercial teams, anticipating needs and delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of marketing, life sciences, or a related discipline.
You have at least one year of professional experience in a marketing or communications role, with a proven track record of executing projects in a fast-paced environment.
You are proficient in written and verbal communication, with a strong command of language that enables you to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
You have hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including but not limited to email marketing, social media management, and content management systems.
You are comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities with resilience and a positive attitude.
You demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage detailed project plans, track deadlines, and ensure accurate documentation.
You have a keen interest in science and technology, particularly in how innovative solutions can improve health outcomes on a large scale.
You are proactive in seeking feedback and committed to continuous learning, adapting your skills to meet evolving business needs.
You have the right to work in the United Kingdom and are eligible to work without restriction.
You are based in or near Oxford or London, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model that supports both office and remote work.
Nice to have
Experience in the healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors, or a strong interest in Genomics and personalized medicine.
Prior experience managing events or coordinating conferences and webinars.
Familiarity with graphic design or video editing tools, such as Canva or Adobe Premiere Rush.
Knowledge of SEO principles and experience optimizing content for search engines.
Understanding of customer journey mapping and persona development within a B2B context.
Experience with marketing automation platforms or CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
Practical notes
This is a hybrid role based primarily in Oxford or London, requiring a combination of office attendance and remote work.
Travel is occasionally required within the UK for events or meetings, with associated expenses covered.
