Bamboohr is seeking a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Analyst/Manager to lead our impact evaluation efforts. What you'll do
- Design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks that align with Bamboohr's strategic objectives and program goals.
- Develop comprehensive evaluation plans that include both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to assess program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with program teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that data collection processes are integrated into program implementation.
- Conduct data analysis using statistical software and tools to derive insights and inform program improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate findings to internal stakeholders and external partners, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on MEL practices, data collection techniques, and the importance of evaluation in program development.
- Manage relationships with external evaluators and research partners to ensure high-quality evaluation processes and outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in monitoring and evaluation, applying this knowledge to enhance Bamboohr's MEL practices.
- Support the development of funding proposals by providing evidence-based insights and evaluation plans that demonstrate program impact.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate MEL insights into broader organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards in evaluation practices, safeguarding the rights and confidentiality of participants.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MEL systems and processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, statistics, or public policy; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the education or workforce development sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including survey design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS, R, or Stata, as well as experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing evaluation frameworks and conducting impact assessments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
