What you'll do

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with Bamboohr's mission and values, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff, providing guidance on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including crafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
• Design and facilitate training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and promoting professional development within the organization.
• Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and identify areas for improvement, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies for employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
• Oversee performance appraisal processes, providing support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human resources, integrating relevant insights into Bamboohr's HR strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee buy-in.
• Participate in community outreach and partnership development to enhance Bamboohr's presence and impact within the local job market.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs that drive organizational effectiveness.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use metrics to inform HR decisions and strategies.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills and engagement.
• Proficiency in HR software and systems, with a strong understanding of data management and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
