What you'll do
- Lead a dedicated engineering team focused on developing and maintaining monetization platforms and product-led growth initiatives.
- Oversee the integration of payment systems, subscription billing processes, AI usage analytics, and pricing frameworks to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage user-facing growth components, including activation flows, discovery features, lifecycle messaging, and notification systems to enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data analytics teams to assess funnel performance and establish strategic priorities based on insights.
- Strike a balance between the need for rapid experimentation and the creation of sustainable, scalable engineering systems that support long-term growth.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members to foster their professional development and enhance overall team performance.
- Engage in leadership initiatives aimed at refining engineering processes and aligning organizational goals with technical capabilities.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, ensuring that the engineering team is aligned with business objectives.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior engineering roles, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management capacity, leading high-performing engineering teams to success.
- A proven track record of enhancing activation, retention, or conversion metrics through effective growth engineering strategies.
- Technical expertise in monetization or payments infrastructure, including experience with billing systems and subscription management solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate product funnels and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Experience in navigating ambiguity and identifying new growth opportunities through innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in guiding architectural decisions, conducting code reviews, and developing prototypes to validate concepts.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration.
