Account Executive
Job description
About the role
This position is a foundational opportunity for an Account Executive who will architect and execute the enterprise sales strategy for Gamma. As an early member of the Go-To-Market team, you will not only manage the full sales pipeline but also establish the operational frameworks and playbooks that will define the company's scalable growth trajectory. You will serve as the primary point of contact for large organizations, guiding them from initial platform exploration through full adoption. Your role will directly shape how enterprise teams standardize communication and collaborate, influencing both product evolution and market positioning. Success in this position requires a rare blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution, particularly within the constraints of an early-stage environment.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial outreach to contract signature, ensuring a structured and predictable pipeline.
- Engage with executive leadership, including CIOs and VPs, to identify and standardize presentation workflows across their enterprise operations.
- Conduct technical discovery and manage proof-of-concept projects to validate and demonstrate the platform's core value to prospective clients.
- Handle complex procurement processes, including navigating security reviews, negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and securing multi-stakeholder committee approvals.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine messaging and improve handoff procedures, ensuring a cohesive customer journey.
- Document successful sales tactics and perform win/loss analysis to iteratively improve the enterprise value proposition and messaging.
- Develop and maintain sales playbooks that establish the methodology and repeatable processes for the growing Go-To-Market organization.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within target accounts to expand the footprint of existing relationships and drive expansion revenue.
- Coordinate cross-functional support to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for newly acquired clients, fostering early success.
- Track and report on key performance indicators to provide accurate pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy to leadership.
- Build a robust network of internal and external advocates who champion the platform within their organizations, creating a self-sustaining growth loop.
- Adapt selling techniques to align with the specific decision-making processes and hierarchies of each enterprise client.
- Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to adjust sales strategies and positioning to maintain a competitive edge.
- Serve as a subject matter expert who effectively communicates technical capabilities and business benefits to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales with a documented history of meeting or exceeding quotas in enterprise or mid-market sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage 6-figure ARR deals and navigate extended sales cycles lasting 6 to 12 months or longer.
- Proven experience with consultative selling, specifically the ability to identify complex business pain points and map them to specific software solutions.
- Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) models and the capability to leverage existing user activity data to initiate and drive expansion deals.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical value to C-suite stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- A builder mindset with the resilience to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, and early-stage environments where processes are not always predefined.
- Proven track record of working with complex procurement and legal teams to successfully negotiate and close enterprise agreements.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required to meet with key clients and participate in relevant industry events, supporting the full sales cycle.
Nice to have
