What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintain employee records and ensure that all HR documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Collaborate with management to identify training and development needs, coordinating training sessions and workshops to foster employee growth.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement within the organization.
- Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee feedback mechanisms.
- Stay informed about HR best practices and legal updates, ensuring that the company remains compliant with labor laws and regulations.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a workplace culture that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with the company's mission and values.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed, providing insights and recommendations based on employee feedback and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar.
- Experience in a manufacturing or technology-focused environment.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Previous experience with employee engagement surveys and analysis.
