What you'll do
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and resource allocation, while identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Review and approve engineering designs and calculations, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into project management processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist in business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities and contributing to proposals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural project management, preferably within the architecture and engineering industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and project management tools.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
