What you'll do
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning and design.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into overall project plans.
- Oversee project progress, providing regular updates to clients and management while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct quality control checks and site inspections to ensure that construction activities align with design specifications and safety protocols.
- Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for modeling, analysis, and project management to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, to secure new business opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes and project outcomes.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management and design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
