What you'll do
- Examine internal performance data to identify trends and patterns that directly affect company growth trajectories
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards that track key performance indicators for leadership and executive teams
- Partner with marketing and sales departments to evaluate campaign effectiveness and calculate customer acquisition costs
- Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive positioning and identify emerging industry growth opportunities
- Develop sophisticated forecasting models that project revenue growth and user acquisition over defined quarterly periods
- Create comprehensive written reports summarizing analytical findings and presenting clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with product teams to measure feature adoption rates and track user engagement metrics over time
- Design rigorous A/B testing frameworks to validate hypotheses about user behavior and conversion rate optimization
- Monitor detailed cohort analysis to understand long-term customer value, retention patterns, and churn indicators
- Support annual budgeting and strategic planning processes by providing data-backed growth projections and scenario analyses
- Automate recurring analytical workflows using scripting tools to reduce manual reporting time and improve accuracy
- Present quarterly business reviews with visual summaries of growth metrics and development progress to leadership
- Identify bottlenecks in the customer journey by analyzing funnel data and recommending process improvements
- Maintain data integrity by validating source systems and implementing quality checks across all analytical outputs
- Work with the finance team to analyze pricing strategies and their impact on customer acquisition and retention
- Document analytical methodologies and data definitions to ensure reproducibility and transparency across all projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a business intelligence or analytics role
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheet tools including advanced formulas, macros, and pivot table construction
- Hands-on experience working with SQL to query and manipulate large relational databases efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to non-technical business stakeholders
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms and the ability to build interactive, shareable reports for teams
- Solid understanding of growth metrics including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and monthly churn rate
- Self-directed worker capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and shifting priorities
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R for statistical modeling, data manipulation, and automation scripting tasks
- Background in SaaS or technology sector analytics and product growth measurement frameworks
