What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand application requirements and translate them into operational needs.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to manage cloud resources efficiently.
• Implement security best practices across the deployment pipeline and operational environments to safeguard sensitive data.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure costs by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and ensure quick recovery from outages.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall development and operational workflow, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development and IT operations.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack to ensure system health and performance.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security protocols, with experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience in financial technology or related industries is a plus.
• Certifications in relevant cloud technologies or DevOps practices (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert).
