About the role
Freshworks is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the Revenue Enablement team. You will build educational programs and resources that help our global teams master our products and improve sales performance. You will own the end to end creation of learning solutions that align with revenue goals and support consultative selling methods. The role requires you to act as a pedagogical partner who translates complex product features into structured learning journeys. You will be responsible for ensuring that educational initiatives drive measurable improvements in team capability and adoption. This position demands a high level of ownership over the design, production, and optimization of training assets. You will work closely with cross functional stakeholders to identify gaps and deliver just in time learning interventions. Ultimately, your work will shape how thousands of learners engage with our products across the globe.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner with subject matter experts to deconstruct complex sales methodologies and translate them into e-learning curricula using AGILE methods.
- Develop training materials for live, virtual, and asynchronous formats, including tutorials, assessments, and multimedia assets that support spaced repetition.
- Structure information using learning science principles such as chunking and scaffolding to ensure clarity, logical flow, and retention.
- Create online learning experiences using authoring software with a focus on visual design, information hierarchy, and content structure.
- Produce video and image assets that adhere to corporate brand standards while maintaining pedagogical effectiveness and clarity.
- Monitor training programs using analytics to measure behavioral change and business impact on sales performance.
- Research and evaluate emerging learning technologies to implement solutions that provide accessible, on-demand training for a global audience.
- Design outcome-based assessments including scenarios and simulations to track learner performance and application of skills.
- Collaborate with data teams to define success metrics and establish benchmarks for learning program effectiveness.
- Maintain version control and documentation for all learning assets to ensure consistency and ease of updates.
- Conduct regular audits of existing content to identify gaps, inaccuracies, or opportunities for modernization.
- Support the rollout of new product launches by creating enablement campaigns that accelerate adoption and confidence.
- Act as an advocate for the learner by championing accessibility and inclusive design in every project you touch.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for the content creation function within the revenue enablement space.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing instructional activities, workshops, and interactive modules for adult learners in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools including Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality graphic design, digital art, or instructional design work that evidences your process and final outcomes.
- Experience building plans to evaluate learning effectiveness using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Knowledge of inclusive design principles and WCAG accessibility standards to ensure content is usable by diverse learners.
- Strong project management, communication, and writing skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and learners.
- Understanding of adult learning theory and how to apply it to sales and technical training contexts.
- Willingness to follow established brand and instructional guidelines while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools used in B2B environments.
- Experience with learning management systems and talent development ecosystems.
- Background in data visualization or understanding of how to interpret learning analytics.
- Knowledge of video editing software and recording techniques for virtual training environments.
