Product Marketing Manager
Job description
About the role
This role owns how small business owners discover, evaluate, and hear about Found across organic, search, and community-driven channels. You will manage Found's presence in AI answer engines, search results, app stores, review platforms, and community spaces like Reddit. You will partner closely with Customer Experience and Growth to keep our brand credible where self-employed people are already looking for answers. You will own both the strategy and content development necessary to deliver measurable results in these high-stakes discovery moments. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that blends product marketing, growth, and customer experience. You will translate complex product value into simple, trustworthy messages that resonate with busy business owners. You will be responsible for ensuring Found is the clear, credible choice when it matters most in the customer journey.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy and content so Found shows up accurately and favorably when self-employed business owners ask AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews for banking recommendations.
- Execute end-to-end organic search strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, content briefs, and technical SEO partnerships to grow qualified organic traffic.
- Lead conversion improvements on the Found website and resource center through continuous testing of brand messaging and development of high-converting content.
- Own and continuously improve Found's iOS and Android app store listings, including screenshots, descriptions, and keywords, to maximize visibility and conversion.
- Monitor and respond to reviews, ratings, and social listening signals across app stores, Trustpilot, and social platforms, surfacing recurring themes to product and CX teams.
- Own Found's voice and presence on Reddit and similar communities where self-employed people trade banking and finance advice, engaging authentically and correcting misinformation.
- Partner with Growth on new channel experimentation, such as LinkedIn, evaluating emerging opportunities as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans that reflect product roadmaps and customer needs.
- Analyze performance data to prioritize initiatives, identify gaps, and communicate impact to internal partners and leadership.
- Develop and maintain playbooks for emerging discovery channels, ensuring the brand remains consistent and credible as platforms evolve.
Requirements
- Bring 8-10 years of product marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, or related experience, ideally at a consumer fintech, app-based, or subscription product.
- Demonstrate direct experience with SEO, including keyword research, content optimization, and app store listing management.
- Show comfort operating in emerging channels like AEO and LLM search visibility, even where playbooks are not yet established.
- Maintain an excellent written voice and judgment, with the ability to engage directly and authentically in public and community forums.

- Prove strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with Customer Experience, Growth, Brand, and Product teams.
- Use data-informed decision-making, comfortably pulling and interpreting performance data to prioritize work and report on impact.
- Meet eligibility and hard bars as defined by Found's internal policies and regulatory requirements for financial services roles.
Nice to have
- Preferred experience in community-led growth within financial services or highly competitive consumer apps.
- Demonstrated success managing discovery and conversion for app store listings in highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Reddit and community platforms as primary channels for customer acquisition and support.
- Experience building and maintaining SEO content programs that scale across multiple topics and audiences.
