You will own the end-to-end member journey, from initial dietary assessments to ongoing behavior change support, using data to refine your approach. What you'll do
Conduct comprehensive virtual dietary assessments to gather detailed nutritional histories and identify individualized care needs for each member.
Deliver evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy (MMT) via our digital platform, using video sessions and secure messaging to support behavior change.
Create personalized meal plans that align with medical conditions, cultural preferences, and budget constraints while integrating food benefit options.
Guide members through the use of our online food ordering system, helping them select cost-effective meals that meet their nutritional goals.
Support members in navigating SNAP and EBT programs, including education on eligibility, application steps, and retailer access where these benefits are accepted.
Monitor member progress over time, adjusting care plans based on outcomes, feedback, and emerging health data to ensure continuous improvement.
Act as a clinical resource for our network, sharing insights that inform product development and member experience enhancements on the platform.
Collaborate with regional and national retailers to optimize food availability and affordability for members, particularly in underserved areas.
Utilize behavior change frameworks to help members build sustainable eating habits that fit their lifestyle, environment, and long-term goals.
Document all clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality assurance protocols.
Partner with technologists to refine user flows, making the digital experience intuitive and supportive for members managing complex dietary needs.
Represent Foodsmart in external forums, contributing clinical expertise that strengthens our brand as a leader in nutrition-driven healthcare.
Requirements
You must hold an active state license or certification as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Washington, ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards.
You must possess current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), maintaining eligibility through required continuing education practices.
You must have demonstrable experience delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy (MMT) in either clinical or remote settings, with a focus on patient-centered care.
You must be proficient in using digital platforms and telehealth tools, with a strong ability to adapt to new software and virtual care workflows.
You must have a deep understanding of nutrition science, including how dietary interventions impact chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
You must be able to interpret and apply dietary guidelines, food databases, and nutritional research to support evidence-based recommendations.
You must have strong communication skills, enabling you to translate complex nutritional information into clear, actionable steps for diverse members.
