What you'll do

• Conduct detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections during various stages of manufacturing to identify defects early in the production cycle.

• Support audits and assessments by regulatory bodies and customers, providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey findings and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
• Proficient in using computer software for documentation and reporting, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• A degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
• Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar credential.
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and techniques.
• Familiarity with risk management principles and practices in quality assurance.
