What you'll do
- Conduct detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections during various stages of manufacturing to identify defects early in the production cycle.

- Support audits and assessments by regulatory bodies and customers, providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey findings and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Proficient in using computer software for documentation and reporting, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- A degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
- Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar credential.
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with risk management principles and practices in quality assurance.
