What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all project deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating communication between teams and clients.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or PMI standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

- Experience with government contracts and compliance requirements in the aerospace sector.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and practices.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials.
