Teams reshape complex accounting data so interfaces support smooth user navigation. Design systems and platform patterns standardize interactions so products remain consistent while management tools stay clear. Business objectives in close management shape automation to help accounting teams prioritize high-value tasks. You will transform messy close checklists into structured, guided workflows that reduce cognitive load for finance users. You will craft clear prompts and AI interactions that explain reasoning, surface assumptions, and invite correction. You will map end to end user journeys across the close calendar, identifying friction and opportunity in data entry, review, and approval steps. You will design controls that let users adjust AI behavior, override suggestions safely, and understand how conclusions are derived. You will partner with product and engineering to translate business requirements into interaction models that feel intuitive and predictable. You will maintain and evolve the design system so AI components stay modular, accessible, and coherent across the product suite.
Requirements
Completion of a Bachelor's degree is required and checked during application review. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position and must be verified as part of the application review. You must have fluency in design tools such as Figma, including component based workflows and prototyping. You must bring a strong portfolio that demonstrates design thinking, iteration, and collaboration, not just polished final screens. You must have experience designing user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate interaction logic and information architecture. You must be comfortable making design decisions based on ambiguous requirements and shifting priorities. You must communicate clearly in verbal and written form, with the ability to explain design rationale to both designers and non design stakeholders. In office days happen three weekly, subject to change with team and business reviews by leadership. Office presence occurs three days per week, and this may change based on team and business needs with ongoing review by the department leader. This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, and that restriction is fixed for the position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role, and this condition is firm for the position. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
